The Build-Zone Structural Warranty, underwritten by an ‘A’ rated insurer, is an alternative approach to relying on Architect's Certification, NHBC or Premier Guarantee products and is designed for new builds or conversions. This area of the website is dedicated to helping you understand the cover that will be provided and what to do in the event of a claim.
Your Policy
Your new home is covered by the Build-Zone Structural Warranty. During the course of construction the design and the quality of workmanship of your home will have been checked to ensure it meets the required standards. The structural warranty policy provides cover for major damage to the structural elements of your home. It is not, however, a policy designed to cover wear, tear or lack of maintenance and neither is it the same as a home buildings policy which would cover you against certain defined perils such as fire, flood etc.
